I've been treating Lyme for 11 months, Bart for 9 and Babesia for 6 months.
Currently on Mepron, Zithromax, Amoxicillin, Plaquenil, Rifampin and several supplements.
Recently I feel as though I've made some headway with Bart and Babesia but am wondering what is going on with Lyme.
I have started having trembling in my hands and my arms feel weak. I also feel like I am trembling inside sometimes even though it isn't always visible on the outside.
Wondering if this is a symptom anyone else has had come up during treatment and what worked to get it to go away. Not sure if it has come because I recently added Amoxy or if it has come because I'm not hitting lyme hard enough. Almost all of my lyme symptoms have been neuro and are very very slow to respond to treatment.
Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I get this feeling a lot (read my other thread). It's scary. I'm not sure what the cause is. You wonder if you're hitting Lyme hard enough? How could it not be with FIVE Abx/anti-malarials?
Your protocol is intense though and a ton for your liver to handle I imagine. If you find out the culprit, let me know.

Hi,
I just had a major muscle weakness symptom and eventually figured out that plaquenil is the culprit for me. I don't know if it'll come back when I re-start- I stopped it two or three days ago and the weakness subsided almost immediately. I've read that this can be a symptom.
Rifampin and Mepron don't get along- Rifampin makes your Mepron half as active, so it might not be the best combo if you're trying to get your money's worth out of the Mepron (plus it's generally a bad idea to reduce dosage for a disease that can become resistant to a drug, like babesia can with Mepron).
There can be other causes of muscle weakness and definitely several causes of trembling with Lyme and babesia.

I think the "shaking on the inside" is called internal tremor and yes I got that symptom, before treating and while treating lyme
Weakness was another one for me, especially in my left side--when the lyme flares (about 4 weeks) my left arm experiences the worst of it

Curious if these issues went away for you while on orals or if it took IV to hit these kind of neuro symptoms? I've been on the fence about IV treatment but am reconsidering.

Consider Doxycycline, it reaches the same blood levels as an IV treatment, and strongly penetrates the blood brain barrier which is what we need; i'm not sure of other antibiotics. I know ones like Amoxil do not, except in high doses.
They (symptoms) usually get worse on antibiotics and then better when your infection load lessens.
