As per Dr H, I have started a heavy metal detox program. For two

days I fast, except for a nutritional supplement/food whose name I

have of course forgotten. Day three I continue with the supplement

and add some organic fresh food. Also on day three, and for a

while afterwards every third night, I take one detoxamin in suppository, 250

mg of DMSA, and 6 chlorella. The following day I take inc and a

packet of minerals. Dr H has said this is a new

product/protocol: has anybody else done it? I am wondering

what to expect...

Sounds really good.

I'm a believer in fasting every now and then to allow the body time to pull toxins from fatty tissue.

You just have to be careful and watch for energy levels and fatigue.

Protein is very important for chronically ill patients.

But i'd listen to Dr H and I'm willing to bet the nutritional supplement is a shake by Xymogen

The supplement is almost like a food: has significant calories, protein, fats, etc. So far it's been 4 hours since I took the first serving, and I feel all right. Just nervous about the DMSA and the Detoxamin.

It is a drag. But it's been about 6 hours and I am not really hungry, and usually I eat about every two hours. I will check out the Chelex thread.

I'd be interested to know how this goes for you. I just started the NDF PLus metal chelation a couple of weeks ago. It is definitely doing something - I have had to back off a bit & add some kidney drainage to the mix.

My doctor also mentioned the Chelex detox by Xymogen, but I had already started NDF. Looking for the Chelex thread...is it under medical?

Definitely want to compare notes & hear how all are doing on metal detox.

Day two of this protocol and I feel fine: better than I did before I started. The stuff I am taking is OrthoMolecular Core Support. I am not sure what that means: the ingredients are pretty straightforward (brown rice powder protein and a vegetable concentrate of some kind: Maybe I am not getting some ingredient in my regular diet.
