I had trouble getting up today because of the chest pain. Blood pressure and pulse are fine, but it's been a bad morning in terms of how I feel overall.
I pretty much always have chest pain. It's usually worse in mornings, and quite a bit worse today. I've had all sorts of tests done several times, and nothing much has been found. My cardiologist says my heart tests "healthy" and he just thinks it may just be infected. However, I feel that things may be getting worse even though my blood pressure and heart rate isn't so messed up anymore. I stopped my beta blockers because I'm 120/70 now and don't see how they could help me anymore.
I'm 23, and because of my age, nobody takes me seriously anymore. Age discrimination is a crime.
Sorry if I am negative today. I've been trying to be really positive, but days like this make me feel like I am just going backwards. I live in a what it seems like constant herx from my natural protocol, and I have an overwhelming urge to stop everything so I feel a little better. I'm supposed to go to IV Rocephin next month, and I don't know how I will be able to handle that.

Ok..what cardio tests have they done? If they have only done an EKG, ans stress treadmill that is NOT going to show anything on a woman's heart. The new Cardio MRI is the only thing that will show microvascular issues on women.
We have have issues in the little veins not the big ones like men and a Echo treadmill does NOT show anything vascular. If you can handle dyes google a hospital that has the newer cardio MRI. It will show everything. All women need to know this. Echo stress tests only show how the heart is pumping and the valves NOT the vascular system!!!
It does not show ischemic issues either like when your heart vessels constrict for no apparent reason and then open up again.

I'm getting this type of pain now. I used to have some chest pain, once in a while, and it didn't last that long.
Now, I don't seem to have it when I first wake up, but as soon as I start moving around, getting ready for work, it gets really bad, really fast. It's a little bit better once I'm sitting down again, but not much. If I have to walk anywhere, it gets bad quickly.
This has been constant, every day, for two weeks now. Today I've got a fever on top of it. I don't know what it is.

I also get this. Mild chest pains randomly, mostly on the left side. Had EKG and Echo and it was completely normal so I don't know. Isn't this the scariest symptom? I think so.

I am 20, married. I have had lyme for a year. I had a postive Ehrlichia test.
Chest Pains I have had since Jan. mainly on the left side, but sometimes on the right. They scare the crap out of me sometimes lol. I always think I might be dying or something lol.
I am on Beta Blockers since Lyme made my blood pressure go up. I am trying to lower my blood pressure but its hard.
The doctors listen to my heart and haven;t said anything. I think it is caused by lyme.

I'm sorry about the chest pains. I get them too, random and sporadically for the last couple of years at various degrees of pain and discomfort. Same as you, and most others, bunches of heart tests all in the clear.
I can't figure them out. Sometimes center of the chest. Sometimes the left side right over the heart. Rarely the right side. I'm guessing something nerve-related or microvascular.
I took Proponalol (Inderal) for the first year for my PAC's/PVC's. Switched to Atenolol a year ago and had better luck with that. However, I only take it on an as needed basis and haven't popped a pill in 2-3 months.
I did take a double dose 3 months ago when my blood pressure freaked out from herxing (140/100 and 186/93). The Atenolol helped bring it down and now my body is back to 130/80 to 110/60 range depending on the time of day.
Yes, the chest pains suck -- ugh -- but here's to letting you know that there are other people feeling similar and not ending up in the ER.
