Hi,
One of my main symptoms prior to diagnosis was my left foot drop and left side weakness. It gets so much worse with any exercise or exertion, especially when my body warms up. Does anyone else have this symptom? Have you gotten any relief?

I just started the antibiotics a week ago. I believe I am having some herxing symptoms (worse joint pain in different areas and a low grade fever) but they are starting to calm down.

My leg was ok most of the day today because honestly I wasn't running around doing that much but of course now that I am getting the kids ready for bed it is starting up again. Since starting the antibiotics I feel like my hip and knee joints are "loose"...this is the only way I can describe it.

Any thoughts, ideas, advice would be appreciated [Smile]

My left side was weaker. It made me twisted to have the right side so much stronger.

I would exercise to keep the muscles strong around the joints. I teach pilates, and it's the perfect exercise for that.

Yes, I had this badly when I first fell ill. It scared me terribly. It's not like that now.

my left side is so much worse too. I remember this being my first symptom. All I could say to the neuro. was that my right side was totally normal and something was wrong with my left side, including burning spine pain only on the left! He diagnosed me with atypical migraine.

I have what I describe as being uncoordinated or sometimes it feels like I am wanting to walk twisted...sometimes I feel like I want to droop to the left because of the weakness.

Very scary symptom...hope it gets better! I am doing pilates every other day.

iget some weird stuff too.. weakness, stumbling, numbness sensation, .. unfortunately, when it happens it really scares me-

I wonder if Hyperbaric oxygen would help alleviate all the stuff that's happening to our bodies.... When it get me down, just focus on the Lord as He promises in the Bible new bodies in heaven.. bodies that don't break down.
