My LLMD has the requisition form for Clongen Lab tests and wants to do it on me, but doesn't know what to ask for (I gather the form is confusing).

He wants to test for Lyme and the co's. Someone posted awhile back about a $99 test? MariaA?

Why don't you ask him to consult with Dr. J in Germantown, MD. I believe Dr. J posted on his blog that he prefers Clongen, so he should be pretty familiar with what would be the best tests to order.

It's the blood smear you need for $100.

yeah I think Maria has already done this and posted...I'll search for it the post on here....

My doc won't consult with Dr J in Germantown....leaving the ball in my court here, too busy.

Seek--does "the bloodsmear" have a name?

I never had it done, but that's what it is: Blood Smear. You could call Clongen directly probably for a formal order sheet.

I can't see why a doc couldn't pick up the phone for what 2 minutes to ask a question that could benefit all their patients?

I think it's better for the coinfections actually? had not heard for its use in Lyme.

Ahodge01, no bands at all via Igenex? hmm.....maybe you just have a coinfection.
