So if you've read my posts I've been suffering from Lymes for 2 years. Extreme constant fatigue,eye problems, muscle aches and many more...Well for me all of my health issues have scarred me and caused me a great deal of anxiety (thinking im going to die, not get better) So I've recently starting taking Paxil for my anxiety....
Are there any other Lymie's who are on any kind of anxiety med as well?

I've always tried a more natural approach, which have been St John's Wort, Sam-e. I thought the St John's Wort worked for a little while, but I quit taking it a long time ago. Sam-e seemed to work a little bit for a little while, then not.
I was just discussing some depression and irritability issues with my LLMD. She is having me try NeuroReplete. Since I've only been taking it for a couple of days, I can't say if it works or not, but she said she had a woman who swears by it.

St John's Wort is good for someone that is on no medication, however it interacts with almost everything under the sun, in particular it does some nasty things to macrolide antibiotics like activating efflux pumps that pump them out of cells. Not good when treating lyme with antibiotics.

Yes. I was in a vicous cycle of stress, lyme related illness causing more stress etc. My doc thought it would be good for me to relieve some of my anxiety and stress so I started prozak 20mg 6 months ago. It's really helped.
I don't want to stay on it forever but it really helped me make it thru a very hard time.

i was on wellbutrin when the doctor tried to tell me my problems were from depression, although all the psychologist i saw said i was NOT depressed. i was desperate though, so i was on well-butrin for 6 months and it made no difference.

Is NeuroReplete a supplement I can buy online or does it have to be prescribed by a doctor. Is it a natural product?

I could never take antidepressants. They always made me feel worse. So now I am taking a mood stabilizer.
LD triggered a mood disorder. Now isn't that just what I needed! An added bonus!

Taking meds for ocd, anxiety and now my psych said lamictal to strengthen the anafranil for ocd. I know, hopefully I won't be on these forever, but you have to live.

Hopeforhealth - sorry, I have been off the computer for a couple of days.
Yes, NeuroReplete is listed as a "dietary supplement". I paid $70.00 for 240 caps. Told to take 2 - 4 caps in the morning and night. I'm starting with 2, and may work my way up, if needed.
According to their website, you have to go through a doctor to order. Maybe your LLMD can call 877-538-8388, website: http://www.chknutrition.com/
It also states about taking two other supps with it, but my LLMD only gave me the NeuroReplete.
They also say there are fraud brands so as with anything else be careful. Go to their website so you can see what the bottle looks like; although, a bottle can be filled with anything.
There is another website that has a picture of the bottle I have and you have to fill out some form before you can order, but not sure how legit they are:

Yes, trazadone for anxiety, although its an anti-depressant, seem to help a bit. Klonopin for sleep and xanax as needed.
Always had anxiety and insomnia but could always manage it until 8 months of treatment for lyme/babs.
My hope is to get past this and get weaned off since I am better from the lyme/babs treatment.

My LLMd prescribed Deplin 7.5 mg. Its been 2 wweks I am using it, the first day I felt crazy and from the second day on I saw little bit improvment in Depression.

I've taken antidepressants in the past. They pulled me out of a really bad bout with depression. Some antidepressants can be helpful with sleep and pain as well.
One doctor put me on GABA for anxiety. I took 800 mg 3X's per day until it was under control. Took a few months. I tried to stop it but got anxiety back again. I've been taking GABA (600mg) 2X's daily for several years and it keeps the anxiety at bay for me.
Don't take GABA without clearing it with your doctor if you are on prescription anti-depressants or anti-anxiety meds.
