My last post was about 2 weeks ago .. at which point i was a wreck. I felt terrible and was afraid that i'd never see improvement. I could hardly leave bed.
2 weeks later (now about 35 days into treatment) i feel MUCH better. I'm able to go to work (even though its tough at times), my energy has returned somewhat.
I actually felt as well as about 90% and have now slipped to 75-80 in the last 10 days or so and hung around there, but even that is a HUGE step forward from where i was.
I still have muscle aches, especially in my arms and legs, some weakness and occasional muscle twitching, i still have that general "sick" feeling ... but nothing compared to where i was.
I do have a suspicion that the slight backward slip is due to taking advair, but i can't be sure ... i THINK i might feel better when i'm off it for a few days, it's tough for me to stop taking for long enough to make an accurate judgement.
Anyway, hopefully this will help anyone who is where i was 2 weeks ago, it's rough ... but it does get better.
Also, i'd be interested in any insight about making it "over the hump" but not being quite better ... wondering how long i have until i feel 100% .. cant wait to get back to drumming, baseball, and cycling .. i'm not quite there yet.
Thanks!

Advair is not the best as far as stomach and especially liver. neither is Actemenaphen (spelling)Talk to your doc about something else for pain. Glad that you feel such an improvement.

Thanks. I'd love to stop taking the Advair, but my stomach hasn't been a concern thus far .. i'm more concerned with the possibility that as a Corticosteriod it's causing my symptoms to flare.
As far as pain, i'm not taking anything ... the aches i'm having aren't enough to merit pain relievers (knock on wood!).
Although, as an asthmatic i have to avoid NSAIDS (advil/motrin/aspirin) .. so i'm left with Tylenol.
