When you eat food your blood rushes to your stomach to help digest food-- if you have low blood volume or blood pressure this could lead to a lack of blood in your brain therefore making you light headed. Have your blood pressure checked or maybe eat slower or smaller meals to prevent so much blood from going to your GI tract. :-)

Sometimes I get it when I stand up from sitting down for a while, too.
But I often get it when eating...sometimes after a few mouthfuls of food, I start feeling light headed, like my BP is dropping, and I can't concentrate for a good while. It normally only lasts a a few seconds, but it's not fun.

I wish I knew what caused this. I get it too. It happens after just a bite or two of food and my dizziness comes out of nowhere and it takes a while for it to go away.
I'll ask my doc about this next month and repost if I get any gems of wisdom on the issue.

It could also be yeast or undiagnosed food allergies (which you may not have had before, but you developed since your immune system is compromised).
And typically we fall into the comfort food craving (carbs) at dinnertime, setting off allergic rhinitus, which leads to the dizziness.
See if it happens if you have just a cold salad for dinner.
I had this too for a long time (to the point I just didn't want to eat dinner) until I spent a couple months on diflucan. Cleaned up my sinuses and gi tract. My Allergist and ENT were amazed.

Dehydration / electrolyte imbalance is the most likely culprit here... Yes, food allergies may also play a role. So make sure you are getting enough fluids throughout the day - abx and our increased need to focus on detoxing increases our fluid requirement. I'm on 1.5 Liters (about 6 cups) IV fluid replacement at night, plus drinking several cups of water through the day...and STILL feel and test dehydrated...and it's nowhere near as hot here as it has been for the rest of the Nation...
Half your weight in ounces is the rule of thumb for sedentary lifestyle water need...add our increased need of fluids (at least 2-3 more cups water daily) and electrolytes (lemon-water is a great way to get this and help with detox too), and probably will wind up needing somewhere around 12-14 cups water daily...
