My lyme is turning into arthritis. It started in my left hand, all my joints. Then it has moved to my toes. Now Im starting to feel it in my elbows and wrists. It is getting worse everyday and I don't know what to do about it. My joints are very red, swollen, and painful.

Someone told me to see a Rheumatologist, but I've experienced and heard horror stories with these kind of docs who don't believe in Lyme. And wouldn't they just try to give me shots of steriods?

Im losing my mind here cause the pain is spreading and I thought I was getting so much better. Im so discouraged.

You can see photos at my website: www.lymebites2010.blogspot.com

I've tried ibuprofen, ice packs, pain meds. nothing works. Im currently trying curcumin. It's suppose to help with arthritis.
Any other ideas? I'm desperate. Does this mean my current regimen of antibiotics has stopped working? ugh.

Parasites/worms can cause these symptoms. I've had them. My hands and knuckles were bleeding with cuts.

My hands are back to normal after using antiparasitics. Parasites/worms can play a MAJOR role in lyme disease. Do a search on here under parasites and Lyme and parasite symptoms.

Arthritis pain and to a lesser degree, swelling was my wife's main Lyme symptom. Frequency treatments with a Rife machine is what brought her out of that cycle.

It is not an approved or even considered a legitimate treatment, but since it worked, it is what I would recommend.

There is one or more pathogens involved in our case. One is Lyme, and the other appears to be Bartonella.

There is one study that was done in Australia that illustrates the effectiveness of this type of treatment for more traditional Arthritis. That was not for Lyme induced Arthritis, but apparently it works for that also.

http://www.rife.de/study_documents.html

It is your call, but that is the only way I know to get at the source of the problem.
