I've had Lyme for a lot of years...and have been on treatment for about 9 years (on and off).
So this last fall I apparently got bit again and reinfected with Lyme. I didn't actually find the tick...but I did find the bulls eye rash.
This all has had me thinking and wondering. Since not everyone gets a bulls eye rash when they are infected with Lyme, is it possible that you are more likely to get a bulls eye when reinfected a second time? Is there any information to suggest this is possible? probable? Not possible?

I think there is actual research on that. I know there is an LLMD who stated that he believes when we get the rash, we've already been previously infected.
Hopefully, someone here will have that info for you!!

I was running this by my husband last night and we realized (or remembered) that he had a positive lyme test before he'd ever been bitten by a tick and then about a year later he got bit by a tick and had a bulls eye rash.
Am I off my rocker to think there is a possible relation?
