Runner what's ur T3 dose. It's a tricky protocol to pull off because you almost have to max out doses to dangerous levels to supposedly reset body temp.
If you're feeling hot, you may be getting too much T3.
Have you been logging your temps along the way?
I too had to abandon a T3 only protocol because of a lack of results. However, I feel my endocrine disruption is more due to infection rather than an overriding thyroid problem.

Wow, 120 mcgs T3 2x per day
That would be a lethal dose I think lol. Do you mean T4?
When I ran T3 only I was using only about 65 mcgs per day. It wasn't high enough dose at the time I believe but the doctor had started me there. Nevertheless, I may try it again in the future. The threshold dose is usually at about 100 mcgs or so.
I'm back on a cytomel/synthroid combo currently. It seems to work best for me.

The study mentions a maximum dose of 90 mcgs b.i.d so your dosing does seem high but I'm not a doctor.
How have your temps been?
You could always try a combo of meds and then play with the ratio of T4/T3...
Good luck.

yup, its quite a high dose..but i am not absorbing it. it muscle tests that i am only absorbing at 20 percent. my reverse t3 is way high..so that would be my guess why i am not symptomatic..believe it or nor i have actually gained weight when i went off my armour and onto t3 only.. i am scratching myhead at this whole thing..its so confusing.

Interesting. How are your adrenals? It may take appropriate amounts of cortisol to make the T3 effective in the body. Iron is important too.
If you're using the SR T3 consider trying normal T3 but at carefully spaced intervals.
