I am well into treatment now. I was diagnosed several years ago with Lyme, Barts and Babs. I have undergone port therapy, greatly improved, but am still doing alternative treatments.
The is the second time I have noticed a small, very red, mark develop on my back. The first one looked like a football, this one like a tear drop. It has very clean, distinct edges and is only slightly raised. It doesn't hurt, itch, anything.
Anyone else have these? Any clue as to what it is?
Thanks!

I had such a mark develop on the side of my neck. I spoke with a person who led a support group and they called it a lyme lesion.
When I pointed it out to my lousy lyme doc, he sent me to a dermatologist to get it biopsied, but the derma said he could tell by looking that it wasn't lyme, and the biopsy came back as nothing.
After many, many months, it went away.
It was red and about half the size of a quarter, but longer. It was an oval shape. It was slightly raised. It didn't itch or hurt--just like yours.
So, evidently it is not related to lyme. But, I still feel that is was somehow related. They didn't convince me. Not the way the dermatologist acted. You know--when the "lyme" word got brought up.
