come from Lyme? Like I've said before, after DX I've been thinking back (as much as I can remember) over the last 6 years about different issues I have.
All seemingly unrelated at the time-now seem all related. Prior to 2004 I was fairly healthy-got a sinus infection or cold here or there but was never really sick.
After 2004 I started having back pain, low grade fever, bronchitis (spell?) for the first time in my life, fatigue, high blood pressure.
And this rash. I got this HUGE rash all under both of my armpits down the sides of my torso. The doctors couldn't explain in-I changed nothing-eating habits, soap, detergent-nothing. They just kept treating with steroids and steroid creams and it just was there. For days-maybe even over a week-and then one day I wake up-and POOF it's gone.
Is it possible that Lyme and co-s cause rashes like that?
If it is-I'm really thinking that "spider" bite was actually a tick bite. Hmmm

Before I had my first major symptoms (bilateral tendinitis in both arms) I had a rash just like you describe. It ran down both sides of my torso, originating just on the chest side of each armpit. Mine also went away after about 5-7 days.
During the initial research in Lyme Connecticut, the researchers discovered that before most outbreaks of what they thought was juvenile rheumatoid arthritis, the teens had a similar rash to what you describe.
To compound your post, I was also bitten by a spider a week or so before I had a bulls-eye rash. I've been told that spiders do not carry Lyme disease, so I just assumed that I had a tick that I never knew of. Good luck in your journey!

Hey-I was out of town. Sorry I didn't respond back earlier. I will have to do some research about this.
And I really need to get my medical records. The more I find out about what Lyme can do the more I am convinced it was a damn tick and not a spider. Ugh-if only those antibiotics had been for longer and stronger maybe I wouldn't be here now.

I've had to deal with a number of rashes on almost every part of my body since being diagnosed, and I personally feel mine is due primarily to Babesia.

The rashes that I had stumped the docs. I went to the ER in MD because I lived in GA at the time. My GA doc told me to go to the ER if it wasn't gone in 3 days because he was worried about it and I couldn't postpone my trip.
So I went to Bethesda Naval Hospital and they couldn't figure it out. The doctor said to me...Well, you've got me perplexed. I have no idea. No one could ever figure it out then bam woke up and it was gone.
They kept asking me had I changed deodorant or soap, detergent? Nope, nothing new, no new meds, no new food, no new products. They told me to stop wearing deodorant to see if that took it away-while I don't put deodorant all the way down my arm or torso I complied. I stunk and it didn't help. It was the middle of summer-it was bad, lol.
I really need to get my medical records. I'm going to call today and find out where I have to go. There were at Quantico last but since I'm no longer affiliated with the military I don't even know where to go. Oye.
Anyone else have random rashes? I am really curious to see how many other have had them and which infection they think caused them.
