Topic: anyone replaced armour with: biothroid, naturethroid, westthroid, or thyroid?

these are my pcp's choices cuz we can't get armour
do any of them work better or worse for you? any info appreciated

Have you called around to different pharmacies to see if they have Armour?
There is a shortage in my area also. I called several different pharmacies before I found one that had it. I have been able to get it for several months now.
You may also want to try calling Armour to see if they can tell you where you can get it in your area and/or when it will be more readily available.
If you still cannot get it, a local compounding pharmacy may be able to compound something very close.

I've been on Armour for almost two months now. I get it at Costco. The shortage should be over is what I was told.

I've switched between Naturethroid and Armour and notice no difference.

thanks-i've been dealing with back orders for years now and i am getting very low...i don't know ifi have a cosco but will try---or maybe just go for the naturethyroid
hassals are a problem for me-its all i can do to do it right when everything goes right-thnks again

I am in AZ, and Walmart didn't have it on hand but said they could get it. Costco had it on hand. Maybe call around before venturing out. I don't think you have to be a memeber of Costco to get their RX.

I replaced it with Thyroid-S which I order from thailand (edrugnet.com). Sounds shady but my thyroid labs are rock solid and the stuff is dirt cheap.

I was using Armourthyroid until they have changed the forumula then I felt like crap. So my doctor switched to Naturethroid. I was doing good on Naturethroid.
