Sorry if this is TMI, but I have to ask...this problem is what finally got doctors to take my problems seriously and lead to my Lyme diagnosis.
I went to the GI for what I will just call bowel problems. After a mess of tests, I was told I have "a very weak sphincter muscle and the resting tone of the anal canal is virtually absent".
I am still waiting to see a Lyme doc. Does anyone else have this problem and is it improvable?
Thanks!
