Isaiah 43:1-3

Israel's Only Savior

1 But now, this is what the LORD says--
he who created you, O Jacob,
he who formed you, O Israel:
"Fear not, for I have redeemed you;
I have summoned you by name;
you are mine.

2 When you pass through the waters,
I will be with you;
and when you pass through the rivers,
they will not sweep over you.
When you walk through the fire,
you will not be burned;
the flames will not set you ablaze.

3 For I am the LORD, your God,
the Holy One of Israel, your Savior;
I give Egypt for your ransom,
Cush and Seba in your stead.

Evening, morning and noon I cry out in distress, and He hears my voice. Psalms 55:17

Heal me, O Lord, and I will be healed; save me and I will be saved, for you are the one I praise. Jeremiah 17;14

Kam, these are the Bible verses that I have turned to when I felt like you are feeling now. I hope you don't mind that I share them.

I just want to remind you are not alone, Kam. Many of us have walked in your shoes and we understand. We feel your pain and we care about you.

Hang in there and don't lose heart. We are surrounding the wagons and we've got you covered.

Hi there,

Maybe try to remind yourself of all the people who have been exactly where you are, have felt what you are feeling, and have come through it just fine -- only to feel BETTER AND BETTER, ultimately!

"This too shall pass" -- it's really true.

Sending good vibes your way.

Hi Kam,

Yes it is a very dark place. I have been there before. I now am able to say each time I have one of these episodes that I know it will pass because it always does.

One day I think I'm dying and a couple of days later the sun is shining and I notice that I am making a small amount of progress.

We are praying for you. If anyone understands it's us.

My guardian angel, and all those who have gone before me to the more restful place have been assisting me so very much!

I just logged on to start a post. I was gonna write "SO bad off. Please pray!"

My intent was to ask for prayers, not only for myself, but:
- for all those who have Lyme disease (aware or unaware),
- for all those who care for Lyme patients (be it a kind neighbor, LLMD, late-night researcher, LymeNet moderator, or decent soul in the grocery store aisle...),
- for all those who are patient, kind, and civil when we are cognitively challenged by the parasites yet unscathed by appropriate treatment,
- and to give THANKS for the grace of God & the Collective Unconscious that brings you to this site and a human to the phone when we most need to hear that voice.

Dear friends,
I haven't read the thread above. I must muster more strength from my body again today for tasks that go beyond
i have not the words.

Please pray for me as i drive for a blood draw and to retrieve medical documents. I have Lyme neuroborreliosis, Babesia, Bartonella, Ehrlichia, and viruses. I ask for shelter from the sun to protect me from a Doxy burn. I ask for safe roads and good reflexes.

And keep us ALL safe from the lunatic nutjobs who may come out tonight.

I thank God and all that is Good in the Universe for bringing me to this site two months ago.

May the Peace of Healing Love fill your heart, mind, and body this day and evermore.
Love,
Smile

p.s. - no, i do not have anyone else to drive me. I wasn't born yesterday, it was the day before! [Wink]

I'm so sorry to hear that you are having such a terrible time. It is really difficult to see when you are inside these awful times that you will feel better but trust us when we say that you so definitely will.

Dear kam,
Glad to hear you're moving thru and seeking rest in a cozy place.

Not one of us needs to possess everything it takes to beat Lyme into remission. We can trust in our inter-dependence here.

I made it safely to LabCorp and back, but couldn't get Babesia test run on a Fri. Was blessed with a parking space in the deep shade of a tall bldg! Good place to rest & rest 'til the shakes lessened...

Thank you, prayerful friends.
Love,
Smile
