As if I need anything else to worry about. I have a few splotches on my left hand (palm) and then my left palm (think the thumb chunk of the palm) and up the forefinger and thumb, underside. Several areas around my fingers also look discolored.
The coloring definitely looks as if it's coming from under the skin. Anyone know what/why this is?
I just noticed it yesterday so it hasn't been like this very long. I touched nothing within the last few days that could be staining. I've retraced my footsteps quite thoroughly.

You should call your LLMD and let them know.
I googled and got everything from liver enzymes too high to
Age spots (liver spots).

I know they aren't age spots. Antibiotics can wreak havoc on the liver, right?. Would the enzymes be too high or too low with antibiotic treatment? I'm on amoxy right now, it's been about 1 month.
I will let me LLMD know ASAP, which would be Monday morning. He's out of the office Friday-Sunday. Seems I always have things pop up on a Friday and then I have to wonder all weekend long.

- A few days to find the answer to this should not be a problem unless the whites of your eyes are also yellow/orange. If so, then get to urgent care. But you're likely fine to wait if the white of your eyes look good - under natural light (not fluorescents - everyone looks sick under those).
Are you taking a good liver support like Milk Thistle, etc.? That would be a good thing, of course.
Have you been eating a lot of carrots lately - or other orange veggies? And that's good, too, it just can cause some to have yellow/orange palms. If so, just cut back a bit.
If you are taking acetaminophen, you might stop and see if your hands clear up. Acetaminophen can be very hard on the liver.
Check labels on your shampoo bottle, etc. for bleeding dye.
If your water intake is not where it should be, that can be a factor. Constipation can also be a factor. -

Is there any chance it could be dye from something you held in that hand. For example, an onion? The skin of an onion can do that.
If you pick up onion peels along with other vegetable skins, etc., that can happen.
I hope it is something like that. And, the places you named sound like it could come from something you picked up. And, it is just on one hand.
I know you have thought long and hard about this, but I just know I got this once years ago and it turned out it was from an onion.

TF, The yellowing is on both hands, more so on the right. I've really considered the food I've handled but can't think of anything that would leave coloring.
Keebler, My eye whites look fine. I checked them right away. I haven't been eating a lot of carrots, no acetaminophen, no shampoos or soaps out of the ordinary (but I will check the ingredients).
I am not on Milk Thistle but it's on my "to get soon" list. Does it matter what brand? I know with the probiotics, it seems only certain brands do the job. I also must increase my water consumption. Thanks for the reminder. I'm drinking more than usual but not enough.
No new yellowing so I am hopeful that it is coloring from something I've handled.

It was not so much ingredients of shampoo but the dye on the label that I questioned. I've gotten my hands stained by some shampoo bottle labels. -

Check hypothyroid symtpoms. Yellow palms is one symptoms I think.

In the past, yellow palms were from extremely high elevated liver enzymes. Would have this checked out right away as a precaution.
