Anyone try Buhner's herbal protocol from his book "healing lyme"? I bought the book and learned alot about spirchetes and etc, but have been wondering if the herbal protocol is worth trying?

First, it is vital to consult with an ILADS-educated LLMD.

And, yes, Buhner's book is excellent. Still, you need a LLMD.

I'm trying it. Have only added cat's claw as of yet-next week I'll add another one and so on. I took cat's claw before and it was extremely helpful for my inflammation in joints but I thought it was giving me stomach symtpoms. Come to find out - it was my prescription anti inflammatory that was causing my issues.

So now I'm back on cat's claw and it's not working as well this time around-but I'm only on one pill a day yet-Monday I'll add another pill and hopefully that will make a difference. I'm taking it slow because the herbs CAN cause stomach issues.

The book is really good as well. Love it !
