Just diagnosed with Lymes on Wednessday. Local DR has very little experience with it. (Monroe, Wisconsin). On 100mg Doxy 2 times daily. Trying to get educated ASAP. Girlfriend diagnosed and started treatment yesterday. Need to find and expert in treatment.

Welcome. I suggest posting in the "seeking a doctor" section to find a good LLMD.
I'm glad you are in treatment of some kind...but be aware that 100mg Doxy 2x / day is not enough. Most of us are on 200mg 2x / day.
When were you bitten? How long have you had (and what are) your symptoms? How long did your current Dr. prescribe Doxy?
It is sort of like a "bible" for treatment of lyme and co-infections which are common (Babesia, Bartonella, etc). It is already 2 years old and there is some newer research / treatments out there...but this is a great guide nonetheless. GOod luck!
p.s. There is no "S" in Lyme Disease (not "Lymes")

I agree, 200 mg, twice daily. If you go to Dr. B's diagnostic and treatment guidelines posted above, you will see that's what Dr. B recommends. Maybe your doctor will be willing to give you that dosage while you wait for a specialist.
