I'm new here, but my GF has been on here for a month or so. Anyhow, i'd like to share something with everyone that might really help you all.
So i came accross these 2 cd's that a doctor passed on to me. They were a recorded teleconference between Dr. A and other LLMD's such as DR. K and others. After i innitially heared their conversations, i decided to get all this down as this was really good stuff.
My GF has been infected with Lyme for 4 month and its been nothing but a night mare to get answers to our questions.
She is currently on Month 4 of infection, month 1 of antibiotics (Flagyl, Cephtin, Probiotics, Purge Parasites (natural supplement) and cat's claw). We realized that theres a major deficiency in this treatment ...CLEANSING!! After hearing this Teleconference WOW did i ever get a "eureka" pop to the side of my head!!! Ok, so all of the below (ALL) is a basic summary of what DR A talked about. There was inputs by Dr. K and a few others (i'd say more questions than input). One main thing to keep in mind... Dr. A believes in holistic healing, and Dr. K in Antibiotic healing ..... Dr. ME believes in a combination of both.
The summary of their Teleconference below only goes over holistic treatment of Lyme. Aparantly it has healed lots ... i still think u need a bit of antibiotics, but its looking like a pretty good regime for us to try anyhow. EVERY latin word that Dr. A used when describing the names of the supplements to take is a mystery to me...so i just really went based on what the word sounds like ....good luck and if you find i've made a mistake, please let me know what it is so that i may correct it on my end. (Tomorrow me and my GF will be on our way to a naturopath to get these remedies).
IMPORTANT REMINDER: Since i listened to this teleconference and i dont speak Latin, most of the names i wrote down below for the ingredients to use are based on pronounciation ... for the love of me i could not get some of the names they were speaking of. So here's my best shot.
Lyme Disease
Testing As accurate testing is extremely hard to obtain, Dr. A and most other LLMD`s recommend the following be used: - LBA (Line Dot Blot Assay - Provided by Igenex) (Most accurate and most sensitive...this is the one i recommend) - RWB (Reverse Western Blot - Urine Test) - Philips Mattman Test - 100% Accuracy (Self Proclaimed ...but worth looking into) - RIBB - Rapid Identification of Boriela Burgdorfi - Bowen Laboratories - www.bowen.org - Antibodies bands that are Lyme specific: 13, 18, 23, 25, 31, 34, 39, 41, 83-93 ( 31, 39, 41 are extreme indicatives of the Lyme bacteria presence) - Elisa and Western Blots submitted to national labs DO NOT provide accurate results. They usually turn out negative (65% false negative ratio)
Bacteria Information - Bacteria Incysts within 1 minute and can stay like that for several years (Usually occurs as soon as it detects antibiotics or anything that it finds harmful that could kill it. Thats why its important to kill the spirochete BUT ALSO the cyst forms ...or else you`re going to be in a never ending circle) - Loves Calogen (Thats why it affects the joints) - 4 week intervals/cycles
Most Common Co-Infections - Babesia (Malarya Like) - Ehrlichia - Bartonella (Neurological, mental nervous system)
Treatment - 3 Steps One of the most important techniques at treating Lyme disease requires the proper drainage of the Liver and Kidneys and reducing the environment that supports the growth of the organisms and NEEDS to change (see last sections about a mandatory diet change). Identifying the source of environmental toxicity. Note that you can combine all of these together (You can take them all at once)
1. Facilitating the drainage through the kidneys and liver (A MUST). This will provoke the bacteria initially and make the symptoms worsen temporarily. The Liver as its detoxifying will release toxins in the form of liquid and therefore you also need to help the Kidneys. * Unden & Ample of Magenys - 5 Weeks - Liver use Unda/Uden 243 (Will not cause many reactions but could) (10 drops -3/4 time/day) - Kidneys use Unda 45 (10 drops -3/4 time/day) - Also Use Ample of Magenys with this and Fido Greens (4-6 capsules a day)
* Zemo Therapy (Chronic Lyme) - 5 Weeks - Liver & Kidneys - Start with Junapurth (no more than 6 weeks for this one) (1/2 teaspoon 2 times a day) & Umus campestrin (1/2 teaspoon 2 times a day) Also use Fido Greens (4-6 capsules a day)
* After 4 weeks - Change Junapurth to Betula Cubasens (1/2 teaspoon 2-3 times a day). Keep using this with Umus Campestrin. - Pinus Montana (1/2 teaspoons - 2/3 times a day) - For Joints. Helps JOINTS - Mangenese Cobalt (1 a day - Evening) - Copa gold and silver (1 a day - Morning) - Keep using Fido Greens
* After 8 weeks (3rd Cycle) - Change Betula Cubasens to Rosemarinus (1/2 teaspoon 2-3 times a day). - Viamase (for Kidneys - 10 drops 2 times a day) - Pinus Montana (1/2 teaspoons - 2/3 times a day) - For Joints. Helps JOINTS - Mangenese Copper (1 a day - Evening) - Copper gold and silver (1 a day - Morning) - Zinc ticalinate (1 a day) (Continue for 4-6 month) - Keep using Fido Greens
2. IPaul\Disbiosys Therapy (Look at getting rid of the organisms that are living with that person) * Bacteria - Fecas Carica (1/2 teaspoons - 2/3 times a day) - Juglums Ridue (1/2 teaspoons - 2/3 times a day) * Cists - Amino NAC (3 Capsules twice a day)
* Viruses And Co-Infections - Acer Campestri (1/2 teaspoons - 2/3 times a day) - Platanus Orientalus (1/2 teaspoons - 2/3 times a day) - Cedrus Lebani (1/4 teaspoon - 2/3 times a day)
* Probiotics - Acidophulus (2-3 Times a day)
3. Change the environment (Eliminate the Miasmatic weaknesses Dyasesis)
Antibiotics - Using Antibiotics with drainage
FACTS - Microwaving foods lowers white blood cell count and destroys food's vital energy - Tap Water (Not Good for Immune system - Contains parasites and fluoride works against immune support ) - Sugar lowers immune system (Lowers up to 80% of immune support up to 4-5hours after its consumption) - Process Food - no good (Mutated food) - ELIMINATE this out of your diet: Corn\White Rice\White Flower\Wheat\Nuts\Seeds\Coco (Specially Corn\Nuts\Coco). People this is what the bug eats ... starve it! Take this out of your diet and you will starve it to death. This is also what is called a "Cave man" diet i guess. I know its hard since, well, pretty much everything you eat has this. - Red Meat (once a week is ok but not more as it's a carcinogenic and stimulates inflamation), poultry and Fish is excellent to eat! Brown Rice is ok, so brown rice pasta is a tip i use to help supplement plain old noodles. - Do not eat fruit too often ... they are extremely high in fructose (feeds the bugs)... So moderation is ok. - Keep eating your veggies.
-------------------- These are purely my suggestions. This is what i have learned so far while doing my own research. Take it for it what its worth ... My GF got recently hit with Lyme (4 month ago) and by goly i tell you i have done my fair share of research. Posts: 5 | From canada, AB | Registered: Jul 2010

Please refrain from using doctor's names. You may use the initial of the last name only on the board. Thanks.

Welcome to Lymenet! I'm sorry to hear about your girlfriend's struggle with Lyme disease. You're a great partner to be taking such an active interest in her health and recovery! I wish you both good luck.
My questions below aren't directed at you, but more rhetorical. If anyone has further knowledge about them that would be great.
I have a couple of concerns and questions regarding part of what was transcribed from their conference. I don't know if there were more details shared in the conference that might answer them, but I thought I should at least bring them up, as they do worry me without knowing more.
Do they explain why they recommend taking all those forms of Manganese?
I am confused and honestly, concerned, that they would have their patients take that, as it is one of the major foundations for Lyme spirochetes to thrive.
Lyme doesn't use Iron like most bacteria - it thrives on Manganese, it is also a proven toxin in anything above naturally-occurring amounts in uncontaminated food and water:
Some of the recommendations are good common-sense, like change of diet; or based on clinical experience and the current scientific literature, that every Lyme-literate physician should know, like treating the cyst form, and treating co-infections.
Where I become skeptical is when they start recommending proprietary products, especially those that contain ingredients like I mentioned above.
I just had to point this out, when I saw Manganese recommended.
I can't imagine a circumstance or chemical state that would make human ingestion of extra (and unknown levels of) Manganese safe, especially for someone with Lyme disease.
Do they explain what the benefits of supplementing with Manganese and Cobalt are, compared to the risks of overexposure?

- Luluymemom, neither one of the Dr. B's posted sees patients - but, nevertheless, anytime a direct quote is used, the author must be credited, according to copyright law.

Nothing Can't be Cured,
Thanks for taking the time to share what you've learned. I can sense the excitement in your post. That's always a nice feeling when finding puzzle pieces. I'd like to know more so . . .
Is there a link to your post? From the Teleconference itself? I see these are from two CDs recordings. Can you post the titles, so that we can see more and that credit can be given?
By copyright law, the authors must be given credit.
However, it appears that it may have been a practicing LLMD and a name removed by the moderator. So, the here are the considerations about that:
If not a practicing LLMD, their name is usually fine here. Some who are authors with their own web sites, are out there in the public and want their works shared. But some LLMDs want to stay private. And we protect them as many LLMDs are harassed and do not want to be in the public eye.
But anyone who gives a teleconference, obviously wants his materials shared. Since you wrote this out yourself from listening to it, there may not be any direct link, other that the CD titles.
If the material stays with no name or credit, that is against copyright law. You and LymeNet could be sued for copyright infringement. But, as a moderator removed the name of one or more apparent practicing LLMD, for their protection, it's a catch-22.
The answer may lie in posting a LINK & a TITLE. That may serve as the documentation required by law to give copyright credit. (An attorney would have to answer that for sure, though, but it would be a clear connector.)
You might take a look at the CD covers. See if there is a copyright listed - with a tiny "c" in a circle (similar to the @ sign) - or directions on sharing and permission. If it says "all rights reserved" that also means permission is required.
For copyrighted material, even with credit and link, only short quotes or a couple paragraphs are supposed to be printed elsewhere. Often, here, we may post too much for easier reading if the link is hard to read but that still gets into fuzzy territory.
Still, it's always okay to post a LINK and TITLE - those will lead us to the materials and we can still acquire knowledge. Knowledge is good. Sharing is good. I always like to know where to learn more. -
