I didn't like it. Had lots of hair falling out. So much it clogged the bath tub drain when I took a shower.
Hair stopped falling out once I stopped it. It didn't help me but I was tough case with the MS manifestation of Lyme/bart/babs.

My daughter and I are both on it for a few months now, with no problems.
We are also taking other abx with it.

I'd love to know what the difference between it and Ceftin are. My LLMD put me first on Omnicef and then switched me to Ceftin. Both cover the same form of Lyme but Ceftin is half the cost (at Costco pharmacy anyway). I didn't ask his rationale for the switch.

Son was on omnicef (along with zith) for 10 months.... No adverse effects, other than he is now symptom free and doesn't have to take any meds. : )

I've also been wondering if Omnicef is strong enough. I've been taking it with Zithromax as well for 3 months, and haven't gotten any better or worse. My doctor switched me to Omnicef after trying minocycline and doxy. I think he said it's a different type of antibiotic that may cause less side effects? I'm not horrendously dizzy anymore, but otherwise don't feel any different than before starting treatment. I'm getting concerned that this med combo is not strong enough. Any thoughts?
