Hey all, I'm supposed to start IV Levaquin tomorrow. My pharmacy got it in piggyback form so I have to gravity flow drip it in instead of using the eclipse pumps.
What do you all use to hang your IV bags with? I've been spoiled by using the eclipses and do not have an IV pole. I need some creative ideas or I might have to try propping it up on top of the couch or chair or whatever is high and nearby!
And if you've been on IV Levaquin, how long did it take for you to see improvements?

When I travel without my IV pole, I take a hanger and hang from a doorway or light as Florence suggested, or I use a curtain rod or handle if there are overhead cabinets. I usually pull up a cozy chair and infuse wherever I can.
Since you're at home, you could also screw a light-weight hook into the wall over your couch or wherever you want to infuse.
Hope this therapy works for you!

I get those plastic 3M hooks that mount to the wall. They make them now where they will come off without messing up the wall and, if you buy replacement adhesive strips, you can travel with them.
Only draw back is they don't relocate well like a clothes hanger would.

You may want to do a search on "travel IV poles" to see if you can find a better price.
Good luck with your treatment!

Be sure to put a hook on the wall or door of the bathroom. Just carry the IV bag into the bathroom and hang it up if you need to be there while you're infusing.
