is it ok to take them both at the same time?
I really need to take the cats claw, it seems to help my stomach like nothing else... also it helps the immune system. I would take it away from antibiotics anyhow.

absolutely - id recommend it. also, take the whole herb, which it sounds like you're going to do. actually had better herxes on the whole herbs than the samento, and it was much much cheaper. also, whole herb has a neuro calming effect.

Yes, either version of cat's claw can be incorporated into a protocol that revolves around antibiotics.
And, yes, they are best taken away from each other by several hours. That is usually best for any herb or herbal formula - separate from Rx.
Just as it's important to separate probiotics from antibiotics and antifungals, it is also best to take all herbs several hours away from probiotics. -
