Thanks for answering my post! I was wondering if anyone knew whether or not Lyme was / is responsible for some of these issues or if I likely had them before.

Your RA factor looks slightly high, but everything else other than D fell within normal range.
My doctor said they just changed the normal range for vitamin D and now 50 is the low, not 30.
Not sure about the upper range, but think it is closer to 150 now. My doc tries to keep my D around 100.
He says 75% of his lyme patients have low D and 60% of healthy ppl have low D.
Keeping D levels above 80 has unlimited health benefits. There is a lot of research on this.

My B12 and D were both low also. The biggest source of Vit D is the sun, which they tell us to avoid while on antibiotics. I'm sure most of us have low D.

I would also ask for prescription D since it will raise your D level much faster.
Ok, when I see my LLMD again I will ask for the RX for Vitamin D. That's a great idea as in order to get the amount that was recommended on my lab result sheet, I have to take 5 per day!

My local doctor, who is an alternative practitioner (and treats Lyme, but I didn't go to him, he seems open but limited knowledge), anyway, he wants my vitamin D over 50.
Dr. Mercola also says "normal" vitamin D ranges are too low.
You live in TN, if you're not on abx, get OUTSIDE to get that vitamin D!!!! You can get so much more from the sun. I supplement in the winter and have a Mercola tanning bed. In the summer, I get at least a couple hours per week of sunshine.
My D level was 54 when last checked, but that was at the end of the winter. I'd like to get it higher.
Sublingual B12 supps are pretty easy to take to hold you over until your appt. It might help with your energy.

Those results all really look good to me, maybe some slight supplementation needed but otherwise good.

The best research on Vitamin D is Dr. Hollick at the BU Vitamin D lab. I take one 5000 IU gel / day, I was 30 last Sept. not sure now (won't retest till the fall) but my goal is to maintain around 80.

My Vitamin D was at 13. I am in the sun everyday of my life and for at least 5-6 hours constantly over the weekend. I'm getting ready to start supplementing.

Definitely take the Vitamin D but it needs to be taken with Vitamin K for it to do its job. My Vit D level was 13 and after 50,000 of Vit D a week I am now at 82. This is an important vitamin and we all seem to be deficient until we demand a blood test and see what our levels really are.
Good luck.
