I just wanted to post this to give everybody encouragement.
I have been sick for 14 months and treated by an LLMD for about 8 months. I have had a lot of pretty good days off and on, and some very gradual improvement, but I've never had ANY days where I could say I was without symptoms. Some days I'm still pretty sick, and now I'm battling candida too, and the nausea from doxy. I've been waiting for 2-3 months symptom-free, but it seemed like it would never come.
This weekend I felt wonderful for 3 days. I had so much energy that I spent many hours shopping at different stores, packing up boxes and taking them to Goodwill, and cleaning, and reorganized half of my kitchen. It's beautiful now, and I can actually cook in it. And I didn't get sick from the exertion like I often do when I try any small thing.
I haven't been able to do that much stuff since I got sick. As of yesterday, my Lyme pain was back, but I am now certain that I am on the road to recovery, and that one day I will get there. I had forgotten what it felt like to be me again. That was fun.
I still have the other half of the kitchen to do, but I'll have to wait for my next good spell to tackle that.

Thank you so much for sharing your encouraging story. We all need them as we keep fighting. It is hard sometimes to believe it will ever end.
