One of my most bothersome symptoms has been peripheral neuropathy. I am starting to notice other symptoms improve, but still don't have much feeling below the waist. I was wondering if this is something reversable. I have read that it will improve with treatment, but heard from a doctor or two that this damage is irreversable. As always with LD, not sure who or what to believe.
Thanks, LA

I would like to know as well. My peripheral neuropathy was my first symptom and my ONLY symptom that has not improved with treatment. I'm starting to think it is permanent as well.
I'm sort of used to it by now. BUT, they say to treat 2 months past your symptoms stopping. So if the neuropathy never goes away, how do we know when to stop treating?

My wife had this symptom as a result of die off more than anything.
She is fully recovered now, but there are probably many variables involved with the degree of recovery possible.

Great question. Hope others can share their experiences.
Mine has improved somewhat with treatment (abx, ivig, etc) but has never fully resolved after several years of treatment.
