I am on minocin, zithromax, nac and flagyl m-f and take the weekends off of everything. I am feeling slowly better. Some days downright normal. Incidently I had some neuropathy from the flagyl but stick it out and it has gone away.
My question is since being sick I did not get normal virus's that went through my family. I now seem to be picking up stomach bugs and now have a cold.
Even though they clear fast.
I am wondering is this a good thing or bad.

Good, IMO.

When I came back from Germany and was substantially better, I caught bug after bug but the rest of the family did not. I think I was finally processing all those bugs I never caught.

At one point I remember actually saying, "What's the point of getting better from Lyme if I'm going to be sick all the time with viruses, it's the same!!!"

Now that I'm through that, I work on detox, but I don't 'catch' all those viruses anymore. I only get sick when everyone else does.

I agree that it is positive. Your immune system is now able to catch those things. And, eventually it will "catch up."

You should mention it to your doc, though.
