Rifampin can be very tough. Our daughter started out at 300mg once a day for a month then we went to one capsule twice a day .

Maybe start lower and slower?

Sorry you are not feeling well. Hope you get some relief soon.

Lemon water is not liver protection in the way that Milk Thistle or NAC are. I hope you've got more liver support. If not, that should help some. You might ask your LLMD about glutathione IV. That has helped pulled some out of a very dark place.

I felt more out of it on Rifampin. I kept using it for three months until I just couldn't tolerate it any more. Then I used Bactrim DS and Biaxin (later switched to zithro) and this has been most helpful.
I could feel the difference in just a few weeks.

Why lyrica? Is this new? Along with the new abx? Does it help? I tried lyrica and it was tough...made me "drunk"-like. That was worse the more I took. To get any real benefit from it, I had to take high(er) doses, which only made me feel more drunk.

When I introduce new meds, herbs or whatnot, I try to do it one at a time and slowly to so I can figure out any bad reactions and am not slamming my body too much. (or, at least, one "kind" of new treatment at a time: detox, intra-cellular abx, extra-cellular abx, cyst-buster abx, vitamin/mineral/support).

I know you are desperate to feel better. I hope it comes soon.

My husband held me down yesterday with the shaking and said today how unfair this is. It takes your life and all I ever told my son is God gives you time, maybe you're we're not rich, but you have memories, what memories is this for a 15 year old. Thank God he's seen me for years go through this, but yesterday was drastic. Lyrica was given to me for sleep. Its in the garbage. Thanks.
