For those such as myself that have severe egg allergies according to food allergy testing panels, severe egg allergies may be a sign of heavy metal poisoning. Sources such as wikipedia mentions this as well.
I thought it was important to mention this.
I don't think chelation is the best answer. As I have mentioned many times, I think it's much safer to go on a methylation protocol so your body can dump most of the metals naturally.
Chronic Lyme Disease is just the straw that broke the camels back. Too much focus on killing the bacteria, and not enough on clearing the terrain. We need to find balance.
Hope this helps somebody.

That's so interesting, I had never heard that before!
I have severe egg allergies, along with other severe allergies. I'm currently on a rotation diet but at my worst, I was eating the same 8 foods every day. I only have about 18 safe foods now, if that.
I'm on a heavy metal protocol right now and ever since I started my throat keeps swelling. Every single day now. It's scary. It happens a lot after I eat (even on my strict diet), but sometimes it happens at random. I also have a lot of itching in my throat, mouth and ear canals.
I'm wondering if trying to detox the heavy metals temporarily causes the body to be in a higher state of allergic reaction. I'd bet that if severe allergies to eggs indicate heavy metals, other severe allergies could be linked as well.
This has me thinking...thank you!

I tested positive for an egg allergy several years ago, and I know my arsenic levels were up at the time. I lived on only a handful of foods for maybe 3 years and took a lot of EDTA.
What is the methylation protocol?
By the way, I can eat mayo today...not sure why this is?

I remember reading that mercury sensitive people often develop egg allergies when I was researching the subject after I had my amalgams out in 2000.
At that time, I was definitely reacting to egg, but I don't get pain anymore after eating it, so hope that's good news so far as metal levels are concerned!

I am mercury sensitive, will spiral into brain fog and depression with only a whisper of thimerosol, but can eat eggs with impunity. I am curious about the methylation protocol, do tell.
