Okay, so the family has been down with this stomach bug for the past couple days.

Yesterday and today, I have taken NONE of my abx--I take Doxy and Rifampin.

Usually if I skip my meds even for a day, I get hit with all the sx again--feeling crappy, heart palps, air hunger.

I have had none of that so far, and aside from the stomach pain, nausea and diarrhea, I don't feel bad (boy, can you tell I'm a lymie--that sounds funny. Most ppl would say those things are enough to MAKE you feel bad).

So I'm wondering, is this a good sign? Could I actually be making enough progress to take an abx break? Or is my body just so busy hitting the stomach bug that the lyme isn't as obvious?

Another quesstion: I upped my probiotics dosage while I've been feeling stomach crappy. Does/can probiotics help a stomach bug pass more quickly, or is that a different issue entirely?

I knew I was getting better when I actually got sick from something other than lyme! Funny, but when I got my first cold my LLMD was happy that my body could recognize and fight an "invader"

Is there a stomach bug going around? Yesterday, I was had a lot of nausea, and was really dizzy. I thought my lyme was back! Feel much better today!

Yes, there's a nasty one going around. My kids were over it in a day or two, but I of course am still sick.

I'm honestly wondering if it's not something else--I've looked up the C. Diff sx on here, and it's not acting like that.

Diarrhea isn't green nor does it have that horrible smell, but it doesn't want to let go.

I felt okay this morning, then we went out school shopping. No sooner got into WalMart than I was in the bathroom for 20 minutes.

Been feeling crappy (no pun intended) the rest of the day.

I see LLMD next week, so I'll be bringing this up to him.

Still haven't taken my abx--3 days now--and I'm waiting for all h*** to break loose.
