I just posted about this a few days ago.....my dr called said my c4a was high showed i was toxic and needed to start deplin.......which i also have a post about today.........i think it shows inflammation level......but i am not sure until i talk with my LLMD on thursday.....

I'm on deplin too. My c4 count has doubled .

I believe it is called l methyl folate. It helps clear your pathways.

This is the first I've heard of it, but it seems to be for low-folate levels and has some use for depression and stabilizing neurotransmitters.. at least according to the manufacturer's website:

It is my understanding that the c4a shows inflammation and is another marker for Lyme Disease. At least I think that's what my LLMD told me.
Since I have been ill for so many decades I do not test positive on anything except Babs Duncanii, so he uses other ways to indicate I have Lyme, just in case he needs it.

I was just put on it, too. My C4a was elevated and was told I was toxic and the reason for the deplin. Haven't started it yet though as I've been having seizures again.
Maybe we all have the same dr.I had never heard of it.
