After having this symptom 24/7 for almost three years does anyone have any advise or treatment that worked.

Have a severe positive SPECT scan from Columbia and have read back over many threads from the past on this subject.

Much conflicting info whether this is bart, babs, cytokines, etc. Any thoughts??? These are not migraines but just constant pressure around the eyes and forehead area.

Different ABX protocols have not touched it over two plus years----- does it ever go away ?????

Thanks in advance for any thoughts---- Don

Head pressure has been my worst symptom since

diag. 2 yrs ago. It never goes away, it is

with me 24/7. Pain meds don't touch it. Tried

all the ABX that cross the BBB and still no

relief. I have severe joint pain and neuropathy

but those I will live with if I can just get

rid of the head thing. It has nothing to do w/

my diet as I am very careful. This is something

that I'm beginning to wonder if it can ever be

fixed. Sorry for being such a downer

Jola. Have you taken Mepron and anti-malarials? Did that have any effect on your headache?

No need to be sorry JOLA. There seem to be a number of people on here with this as their major syptom and also a symptom that repsonds to almost nothing.

Dr.H who is world renown for his work with co-infections said that this symptom makes for his toughest cases---- but keep your head up and keep seeking answers as I do.

Haley,
Yes, I did Mepron w/all the usual combos for the

first 8 months. Many symptoms cleared eg:air

hunger, vision, heart palps etc. Even cognitive

function improved. However we are still trying

to get rid of the head pressure. Currently I

am on amoxy 6gr. per day. It has made my head

all the worse and so I have taken a few days off.

I am not sure if it was penetrating the brain or

I couldn't take it. What do you think????

I had some these exact symptoms you describe. Found out I had ammonia in my brain, heart and my liver. After taking Jernigan Neuro-Antitox Cardio the symptoms went away. I also had heart palpitations too.

There's four different formulas for this. You can read this link and see which one best matches up to your symptoms.

http://abc.eznettools.net/jernigannutraceuticals/Neuro-Antitox2.html

A great article to read about lyme toxins:

http://findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_m0ISW/is_285/ai_n19170382/?tag=content;col1

Are you detoxing? Sounds like you need to detox. There's a great detox thread started by springshowers under "Medical". Look at the detox bath recipe I posted there. It's really helped me (and many others) a lot with some of the symptoms you are describing.

Detoxing is one of the most overlooked treatments by many LLMD's and lyme patients. Our bodies NEED to detox these poisons out of our systems or we will always feel miserable. Not all symptoms of misery we experience can be contributed to a herx.

Honestly, diflucan has helped more than anything I've taken so far for head pressure.

it resulted in a series of massive head herxes over the course of several days...since my head pressure has been significantly reduced although cognitive symptoms linger

I've been on diflucan since day one of trtmnt. 100 gr. 4 days per week. I thought this was being used as a cyst buster and for yeast.

What dose do you take. One thing - I have yet to experience a yeast infection.

Also have been usng molybdenum,chlorella,beta-sisterol as per jernigan neut. Just made up my own potion.

I would give anything to get rid of this head pressure.

JOLA,

I encourage you to look into the Jernigan Neuro-Antitox formulas. They are designed to help with detox and work good on detoxing ammonia which it what it sounds like you might have.

Jola, and others.. This head pressure HORRBLESS has been my personal HELL for over 3 years.. it is 24/7. i have not had ONE second without it for over 3 years.. even in my sleep. What i would do to feel what a real head feels like again... it is worse than just head pressure, it also makes the world feel weird.

i have constant head pressure, cement head, woozy, dizzy, off balnce, feels like the ground is uneven when trying to walk.. and MORE.... it is the most horrific thing to live with... nothing looks normal, nothing feels normal... i dont even know what normals S anymore

NO one, and NOTHNG has touched this set of neuro symptoms. i detox regularly, eat healthy, etc... NOTHNG has made this better... i pray everyday for this to get better...

i am a prisoner of my home and bed/couch unable to do anything because of these symptoms... i have not been able to stand in the shower since 2006, i cannot drive, walk far, and going into a store is THE WORST, makes ALL symptoms worse.

i WiSH i knew what caused this... i did mepron, artemesia, and other abx... i have done every herbs, energy medicine treatment, ondamed, ASYRA, ART, Homeopathy, prayer, EVERYTHiNG.... and nothing has helped it...

i am sorry to be such a downer... but this is hell, and i want OUT.

Unexpectedills and Jola (hello, my friend), I don't have any answers but want to let you know I'm right there with you.

Unexpected, I couldn't have said it any better, it is our story EXACTLY, except for mine started in 2004. I'm praying for us all, this is no way to live.

If you ever want to vent I'm here.

i understand what you all are going through....
my hubby has had head and eye pain for 8yrs now

only 4 yrs ago finally found out he has Lyme..
been in treatment since 9/06...just the past
few mts things have been changing for the good..

his eye pain a little better...but head pain is
still about a 12 most days...but some days he
wants to do things...sometime he will watch
a few min of a ball game and he takes the
trash out...but the fact the he wants to do
these are for me great....

today is the first time he put a suit and tie
on in years...his Aunt passed on and we went
to the church...we had to leave before it was
over he was in so much pain...

noise and people really get to him...

it may be a start for him but it is very
slow...but i am happy for little steps...

just know you are not alone...take care..
and remember that old saying "one day at a time"
