alright, i'm doing it again. another "off color" topic....LOL

but i swear i don't know anybody else that does this.

so when i go poo, i start shaking and i get goosebumps on my skin and i actually get cold. i'm not straining cause i'm not constipated. it happens whether i am or am not.

i really do start this awful shaking and get cold and get bumps on my arms and legs. a couple of times i thought i was going to pass out. i think it's worse at home cause i try not to go out in public restrooms unless it's a dire emergency.

now is this lyme, neuro symptom, or some gi thang??

i don't get any peace, even on my throne!!!

just sign me the bathroom diva...

Well.. I don't have the exact symptom but..

When I am having a flare up of leaky gut and/or yeast issues I get very well....symptomactic when I "go".

I get red flushed ears, body flushing as if there were toxins being released into my bloodstream and a general sick feeling during my "bathroom break".

Again, not identical to what you experience but just thought I would well..pass it along... TG

Sounds yeasty to me too. Had similar symptoms when I was a walking yeast factory a few years ago. Parasites is also something to consider

Dear Bathroom Diva,
Since you "try not to go out in public restrooms" that's our biggest clue.

One should respect her body's messages, not force them to surrender to other ideas about germs or cooties.

My guess is you've had past issues with constipation and/or hemmorhoids, not to mention diverticulitis. Now your poor bod has a learned an unpleasant routine about what happens on the potty. You gotta reprogram.

* Drink a lot more quality water and clear liquids (herbal tea or seltzer water) every waking hour of each day. Organic carrot juice is good, too, if you don't have a yeast infection.

* Get more exercise. Walking in supportive shoes is great.

* Go to the bathroom around the same time each day. Your body would enjoy a routine in this realm, just as our dogs like a routine for when they can anticipate a walk. Drink a full 8 oz glass of quality water just before you go to sit down. Ease things along...

* Drink aloe vera juice each morning upon awakening (right after your room-temperature glass of quality water with the juice of 1/2 lemon). Have another serving of aloe vera juice at night. Soothe your digestive tract!

* Increase your level of Vit C w/bioflavonoids supplementation. (If you take too much Vit C for your body, you'll know because it'd cause diarrhea.)

* Eat more garlic! Add fresh ginger root to veggie egg stirfry and any other dish you can dream up. Up your intake of carrots, Brussels sprouts, broccoli, short-grain brown rice.

* EAT MORE KALE Seriously, buy a shirt from the nice guy if you like, but DO eat more kale!

* Be sure your calcium supplementation is not too high.

* Buy this book and read something from it every day for the next two weeks:
Prescriptions for Nutritional Healing by Balch

Then start advising the other members here! Go on, we know you've got the 20 bucks.

I wonder if it might be some kind of nervous system/vagal response. I know it's happened to me before. Not really sure what it means. I'm not convinced that it could/would be a sign of yeast. Why and how would yeast cause those symptoms?

For me it was mainly pee chills, along with urinary urgency but sometimes happened with either function.

Hi Randibear, I found this doing an online search>>> Hope it helps...

When I need to use the restroom, (poop) I start shaking uncontrollably, I have trouble walking,?
And I get goosebumps and it does not go away until I release it. Is this a medical condition, and if so, what is it called/ what causes it? I know that this is not normal.

Actually, it is normal.
Most people suffer this- it's just the body's way of saying "hurry and get rid of it, it's not good for me". A remedy is usually to go to the toilet sooner before the sensation has a chance to set in.

If you suffer it every time though, then it might be a cause for concern, and you might want to mention it to a doctor because you shouldn't have it every time you need the toilet. It could be a symptom of mild Irritable Bowel Syndrome, which is a fairly common issue, even if it's embarrassing.

Steve
