Sorry, I don't have much help, but I had the exact same thing in June, and I too wondered if it was a co-infection symptom. I never found out what it was from...My regular dr. gave me ear drops with anibiotics in it, and it worked eventually, but the drops made my ears itch REALLY bad. I think I was allergic, but my ear does not feel full anymore.

- There is plenty you can do. Plenty. The list in this post is just a start to many important things that can help.
First, be sure to talk to your LLMD about this. Ear symptoms of all sorts are very common with lyme & other TBD (tick-borne disease) but also more so with some Rx. A change in Rx may be in order.
The best help is a diet free of: gluten, dairy, corn & soy. Most ear doctors insist on this. Yours failed you by not mentioning that.
You should also be sure to avoid ALL dyes and artificial ingredients in foods. Avoid all processed foods and get plenty of colorful vegetables and low-sugar fruits (berries, tart apples).
Avoid all steroids.
Go "scent-free" and avoid vinyl (as a shower curtain, etc.).
If you use a gas stove, put the exhaust fan on high before you turn it on and off to capture the gas that escapes at those times. And air out your home everyday.
Drive at least one car length behind vehicles to avoid breathing in their exhaust.
Do not use in-the-ear pods if you have an iPod or similar device. Limit use of cell phone and use a land-lined corded phone for the majority of your calls.
GINGER Capsules can be a huge help, as can adding MAGNESIUM & TURMERIC capsules. Ginger, especially has much literature on how it helps relieve vertigo and nausea from inner ear problems. your ear doctor should have mentioned that.
OLIVE LEAF EXTRACT (OLE) is an excellent help to manage yeast/candida that often causes ear fullness.
LIVER SUPPORT is also vital for the ears. 3/4 of the way down page one in the thread below, you will see that.
Specifically for LYME patients - lots of details about ears and what can help:

one of the first lyme symptoms I had was vertigo followed by fullness in left ear when I tilt my
ear. It doesn't hurt but it is constant and seems I've been more dizzy since this all started (no more vertigo though).
Just had a major break though! after treating lyme and babs for two years my LLMD thought there
could be some bart going on. I haven't had the $ to retest through Igenix but he started me on a herbal tincture called "BLT" for bart. I have
been taking it for 6 weeks now, have experienced some, what I think are small herxes AND just last night I did the usual tilt of head and I didn't
feel or hear anything! If I bring my shoulder up and tilt head I can still hear it but it definitely seems to be going away. My LLMD
suspected bart because of different neurological stuff that haven't had any improvements. I tested neg. in the beginning of treatment but he says it
can show up on tests later on in treatment, we will see. I hope this is some help, definitely check into bartenella. Good luck.
