I have in the past, but have found other companies that I like better.

In the beginning I was an exclusive NOW user. Now I am using some NOW products along with many others brands as well. Doesn't hurt to try other brands and expand the repertoire.

I have been using NOW sodium ascorbate powder for months. It seems okay. I haven't had any trouble with it.

I think they are reliable products with great prices. My ND stated that she likes this brand. ND's are typically very careful about the brands that they approve because of quality control issues.

I use NOW D-Mannose (powder) for UTI and it works great for me. I haven't used any of their other products so can't advice you other than what I've experienced with NOW D-Mannose.

Most NOW products have magnesium stearate in them. It's hard to find supplements that don't but NOW brand seems to use it in almost everything.
Mag stearate is made by hydrogenating cottonseed or palm oil - used as a lubricant so the capsules fill smoothly. The fatty substance can coat the particles of the nutrients as well.
Cottonseed oil has the highest content of pesticide residue of all commercial oils.
If you're taking lots of supplements, this can add up.
Their powdered products don't have it.

Our family uses NOW supplements and they DO seem to be effective.
We do use Source Naturals products a lot too.
Stearic acid is in VCO too, but is NOT the active ingredient!
Go to Wikipedia to find out HOW Mg stearate works and WHY it is added.
If you don't want to:
Magnesium stearate is used in the pharmaceutical drugs in order to bind tablets and make them smooth.
Magnesium stearate has been graded to be a safe chemical compound, with no side effects known.
Several foods use magnesium stearate as an additive or preservative.
Magnesium stearate is an effective emulsifier used in syrups, ketchups, sauces, etc.
It is also used as an anti-caking agent in preparing certain foods.
Confectionaries use magnesium stearate for binding candies, etc.
Baby cosmetic powder contains magnesium stearate as it provides a softer texture than talcum powder.
