Hi everyone. I am waiting to see a LLMD for the first time but couldn't get an appointment until mid September so am asking here because I'm concerned with a new symptom: chest pain. 2 days ago I woke up in the middle of the night with the sensation that my chest, especially the central area between the lungs, felt a lot of pressure. It also felt as if it went up into my throat. I couldn't tell if it was perhaps heartburn or reflux as I have never had those before, but I hardly ate anything the night before and certainly nothing that can associate itself w/heartburn.
Does anyone have experience with this?It seems like the pain/pressure comes in small little waves and starts in the chest and kind of travels up into my throat. It's not nausea or gas. What is going on w/me?!
Thanks to all.

Weird sensations are definitely a big part of tick born illnesses. The chest area is common for problems. See these lists:

BTW it seems especially bad when things happen in the middle of the night. Hang in there. It'll get better with treatment.
