bad herxing bad doc says take a break i am on day 3 of the break and i don't have any let up of my neuro fog or the funky vision prosessing

i have not had any ABX for 3 days but i am still taking my usual sup caps of mag, B12 shots, fish oil, mangosteen, garlic, tumeric, cordyceps, andrographas and tons of probiotics

do i have to stop taking this stuff also to get the real relief of a break during a herx?

any input about this from your experiences, i would be very greatful

i just don't know what to do

Thanks
Scott

Hey Scott,
It depends on the abx that you are taking a break from. The half-life of each abx is different with many of them staying in your system for up to a week after you stop taking them. It took 7 days of being off doxy for me to notice a relief in symptoms.

Hang in there and don't get discouraged!

Yes, andrographis is quite strong. Plus, you probably won't feel *well* during a break, you're just not adding to the toxin load.

To stop adding to the toxins for a few days during a herx so that your body has time to clear them a bit.

Generally, I didn't take breaks for more than one dose.

It took eight or nine days for me to recover from a Bactrim herx once I quit taking it.

My LLMD then told me to take a one week break and try Bactrim again.
