I have terrrrible GI problems as well. Diagnosed with lyme in April 2010 after 15 yrs of illness.
We have similar symptoms- though my GI pain is generally lower. I have lost 25lbs (I am 5'7" 115lbs). I am nauseous all the time, have little no appetite most days, and diarrhea.
I also have fatigue, headaches, severe leg pain, back pain, jaw pain, knee/hip pain, dizziness, heart palps, insomnia, etc.
So far nothing has helped my GI symptoms.. I believe IV Rocephin was starting to help but then my insurance cut me off and I couldnt afford it. I hope to go back on someday.
I have no advice, just can sympathize fully. It sucks so much. Hang in there and if you find anything out, let me know (and vice versa). Nobody should have to feel like this.

I had parasite testing over the years and it NEVER showed anything. When I did antiparasitc herbs and salt/c this is what came out of me.
PLEASE don't ignore the real possibility of parasites regardless of what the tests showed.

I agree Gael, I assumed roundworms becuase my son started getting eczema with in a week of my GI issues.
And in the parsite world RW are thought to cause eczema!!
When the PCR testing came back NEG for anything
I was really upset, I was sure thats what I had.
Can parasites really cause me to be this sick???
Humaworm makes me have palps, salt/C I dont feel comfortable without a dr any other ideas?

Parasite testing is not accurate, I had visible parasites with Humaworm and my testing came out negative.
Yes, the worms CAN make you feel THAT bad!!! My first breakthrough in treatment was when I treated the gut.
Is there a particular ingredient in Humaworm that causes the palps? Are the palps a herx? If so, any treatment that hits the parasites might cause the palps.
Enula took care of my roundworms, Humaworm didn't touch them, though Humaworm helped with the tapeworm and other parasites.

Is Humaworm natural? Can I take it without a docs advice.. does it have side effects?
I have had the GI stuff 7 years now. I believe I was bit 15 yrs ago.. when I was 10 because that is when the leg pain developed.
About 10 years ago I started feeling sick all the time- headaches, fatigue, blegh. Then when I was about 18 I got the GI stuff which has been the worst of it BY FAR.
I am 25 now. I am in a PhD program, trying my best to live with all this pain and GI upset and fatigue etc. It sucks.
I am currently taking Ceftin 500mg 2x/day and Plaquenil 200mg 2X/day. The only thing that started to help my tum was the Rocephin IV... but I cant afford it so I had to stop just when it started helping.
I am scared to even know about parasites.. do those come from ticks as well? I am also considering bart as well...

It's all natural. If you have a problem with any of the herbs, because they make each batch individually, they can leave that herb out.
Parasites come from food and other things. When your immune system is low, the parasites that we normally fight off, for example, a beef tapeworm (I had one), are able to grow.
Also, when you have GI trouble, you can have low HCL, and that also allows parasites to grow.
Bart can also cause GI trouble.

I agree with attacking the parasites. This is going to be my next step.
Another thought..... maybe go for allergy testing. Why not? Maybe there are certain foods that are antagonistic to you, without you even knowing. At least you won't be unknowingly added fuel to the fire. Good luck!

Have you upped your probiotics? It could be you have yeast and need to do that. It has helped me and others I know a lot.
You may want to try adding in Saccharomyces Boulardi to what you already use. I had to switch from Theralac and TruFlora to VSL#3, which did the trick for me.
Good luck!

I have done Humaworm in the past several times. Right now I am taking Parastroy and having really good results. I have gotten rid of all the larger worms/parasites several yrs ago.
Hoping the smaller ones are the last of it. Parastroy has added enzymes and HCL along with the other herbs and I really think it has made a difference.
As six stated, you can get palps and lots of other symptoms when trying to get rid of parasites. They put up quite a fight.
They recommend staying on it for 6 mos with 1 mos break. Hulda Clark recommends a maintenance dose of antiparasitics forever. Gael

I havnt been on abx since june of 07' I was in remission prior to this stomach stuff! im on vsl 3 4 a day 4 grams of vit c and intramax. im also taking several things from soulan , san pharma and pekana....dont make any difference in how my stomach feels. They found a hiatal hernia which i think is pretty common but im going to try and find a chiro who does viseral manipulation to pull it down some and see if it makes an ounce of difference!

I hate GI stuff. I am scared of the parasite treatment.. I am in a PhD program and don't want my bowel movements to become even more frequent or unpredictable. Maybe I can try to start it during a vacation or something.

Google "Bell's Palsey of the gut and other GI Manifestations of Lyme and Asoociated Diseases" by Virginia Sherr, M.D. It's a good source for Lyme and GI problems. 14k
