i am taking 500MG a day, is it better to take....

one pill at night and one in the morning OR

both togeather at night or in the morning..

on a empy stomach?

I can not tolerate it on an empty stomach...nauseated!!!!! I think with food is fine. I take 500mg all at once for either oral or IV dsoing.

I am into month 4 with this antibiotic and have not had any stomach issues. I take with or without food depending on how my schedule is working out that day and take in AM upon waking and around dinner time. Good luck. Take 2 acidophilus at lunch and 2 before bed.

It doesn't bother my stomach with or without food.

Probably, if your stomach tolerates it, you could just take it once each day, for convenience.

When I took 600 mg, it was in one pill.

Now that I am taking more, I take it in two doses.

My daughter takes a smaller dose and takes it once daily.
