my Igenix western blot test was way neg. only band 58 and 41, even my spinal tap test was Lyme neg.
the best docs in Boston and my neuro yelled at me"YOU DON'T HAVE LYME!" went on steroids for a MS DX and startd going down hill fast.
IT WAS NOT GOOD!

then by the grace of GOD my PCR DNA Test for Lyme came up with a positive hit (thank you Jesus!) everday!

PCR DNA is a hard to hit test, but if it does hit for Lyme DNA, it is 100% undeniable i am positive i have lyme.

fast forward 1 year later with 6 months iv and many orals and still going on treating i am much better on ABX and off MS drugs and my brain lesions are going away.

and i now know i am going to make it with the lords help and the correct DX

so i just want to say that some of the so called "best doctors" in one of the best medical
areas in the world are all wrong when it comes to lyme.

so plase be your own advocate as it might save your life some day, it saved mine,

psalm 50-15 please look it up, it's why i'm still here
thanking him everyday

god bless Lymies
Scott

Thank yo SO much Scott for sharing your story. This is so valuable to so many. What a wonderful gift that positive PCR test was. Those are so so rare.

Would you consider adding your story to the Success Stories thread, even though you are not finished with treatment yet?

Even though you aren't done treating just yet, you sure have made a huge turn-around, and your story is very inspirational.

I wish you continued success, and thank you again.
I love the title of your thread too.

you have to wonder why MS patients wouldnt give abx a try. isnt it worth a shot in the dark? and more importantly whats the downside? what is the risk to taking 2 months of abx?

im i missing something here? why are drs so apposed to giving someone who insists abx for a couple of months? these drs act like people are asking for liquid morphine! yet the prescribe adderall like its candy.

LSG scott you would think living in and around Boston that these Dr.'s would know a little about something that effects so many in our area. its ridiculous really.

i thank God i got a positive elisa back when all this started. if i got a negative i dont know what kind of b.s. i would be facing!

on a side note a year later when my symptoms reappeared and some new ones too my g.p. actually said to me that lyme would be too easy of a diagnoses that it was probably some slow moving virus!

also Erik the Doctors in Boston know exactly what lyme can do.

yeah i used to be that naive and believe it was due to them being ignorant but the more you look the more the word criminal replaces the word ignorant.

its all about money, amagin being a Neuroligist looking at the prospect of half of your patients not needing you and no more perks from Drug reps

i'll stop now i'm getting mad.
