I know perrier is 'mineralized'...it's sparkling (carbonated) mineral water. I drink this stuff like a fish, mixing it half and half with grape juice. I like the lime flavor the best. It is one of the few drinks I was able to drink when I was near death.

Most grocery stores carry perrier in the spring water section.

There is a brand called EvaMore that is very alkaline and you can get it at health food stores but it's expensive.

I just add Trace Minerals to my Reverse Osmosis water or use the Electrolyte mixes (I buy them at vitacost.com for half the Whole Foods price)

The best is Pellegrino...
Can buy by the case as warehouse supermarkets.

Or add "matrix minerals" or "Intramin" or other liquid high quality multi mineral...(not multi vitamin)to your daily regime...with food as it is easily absorbed, versus eating right but not digesting your foods and not absorbing the nutrients.

The liquids work well when still healing the gut.

While it's very important to get the minerals we need, just be sure not to get water or solutions in plastic bottles. the BPA (Bisphenol A) in the plastic leeches out and is very toxic, especially if the bottles ever get warm.

There are some BPA-free bottles used by a few manufacturers. Thicker is better but not always BPA-free unless noted.

Although it can sure settle an upset tummy, carbonated water is not very good for the lining of our stomach and can eat away at the tender tissue. For a celebration or even once a week, maybe, but not every day.

The same minerals in some of the bottled waters can be found in certain foods. I wonder where they get what goes in to the bottles. It would likely be cheaper to buy without it being added to water, considering the labor intensive process of that.

Some of the concentrated solutions are in dark glass dropper bottles. Those are the best as there is no concern over plastic, less water content is being sold and the dark glass keeps light from destroying some of the contents.
