I know you are usually taken off antibiotics when your white count is low. Mine was pretty low and my llmd put me back on mino thinking it is ehrlichia and also on iv zithro for the weekend. On orals today and waiting for results of blood work I took this morning. Did that ever happen to anyone?

How low was your WBC count? Mine has been on low side for a couple of years but LLMD is not concerned.

Just found out, my wbc went up from 1.9 to 3.3. My llmd put me on mino and iv zithro for the weekend and now back on orals. Doc suspected ehrlichia and know I have bart. WBC went up from antibiotics. Had 1/2 hr. clarity last night. maybe God there's hope???

Mine has been around 3.2 for ages so not nearly as low as yours so i guess that's why my LLMD not concerned. I hope you are feeling better - it's slow going but just take it an hour at a time.

I have had a low white count for years and years. I have tested Cdc pos. for erlichia in past. It finally went up to normal when a dr. increased my lyme meds and has stayed up for 2.5 years now. Also always had liver enzymes a little high for years and years until dr. increased meds and my liver has now been in normal range for 2.5 years. I am so happy about this. good luck . low white count is exhausting.
