Please help me. Can I continue taking Biaxin, Mepron, and plaquenil along with diflucan and still defeat yeast?
I know there could be some interactions with Biaxin, but I don't care...I have taken them together before without any problems.
Babs is flaring and I have only missed meds since Monday. LLMD said take Mepron, art, and flagyl. I don't feel comfortable doing this and don't feel like I can talk to him about it. I questioned him at appt. but he did it anyway. I don't want Mepron to become resistant by leaving out Biaxin.
He took away Biaxin because it causes yeast, yet added Flagyl 500mg three times daily...makes absolutely no sense to me. Flagyl causes major yeast issues.
I just switched to this LLMD 2 months ago...absolutely exhausted with getting the wrong treatment everywhere I turn.

Try Theralac or Florastar. i believe both are dot com. Not cheap, but worth every penny to keep yeast at bay.

Yes, I take VSL #3 DS (prescription)...one of the best probiotics.
