I get that when I'm having an allergic reaction to something in my meal. It has helped to go on an allergen free rotation diet.
I have autonomic reactions when I react to something, where I'll flush and get really hot and feeling like I'm going to pass out. Then I get stomach pains, and itching in my ear canals, throat, and mouth.
My allergies don't stay consistent, which is what makes this all so frustrating. For a month I could be allergic to coconut, then the next I could be allergic to rice. The rotation diet helps to keep that at bay, but in the end I think it's immune disfunction, and autonomic blockages/disfunction as well.
