Hi:
I go back on Doxy later this week. I just noticed that I don't have regular doxycyline. My Rx bottle reads IC Doxycycline Hyclate. Google indicates this is Doryx.
Is there a difference between regular Doxy and Doxy Hyclate aka Doryx.
I do have to say when I was on it back in May that I didn't have any problems with the sun. (knock on wood)
I also start Levaquin on the weekend.

Doryx is "enteric coated"-Designed to dissolve in the intestine rather than the stomach, making it easier on the stomach. I've even seen some write ups that indicate it can be taken with an antacid, which is a "no-no" with regular doxy..
