this past week has been a rough one. i found out that i have a disk in my lower back that is ready to herniate. i have had this back pain for over two years now and noone would listen. my neurologist wants to give me cortizone injections? i thought that would bring on a lyme attack? the end of the week, same doc, i was diagnosed with polyneuropathy. the pain has been uncontrollable in me feet, legs, hands, and wrists for months now. i am losing strength quicker than i want to think about. what should i expect? in the past few months i feel like i am losing ground fast, i'm getting scared.

bmom have you tried the Epsom salts baths/rubbing ginger root all over you as you soak? That helped my pain that then went to partial paralysis.
They always tell you-"You may get worse before you get better", but for some it is hard to absorb just how worse some can get.
It took me a year before the tide was turned and on the road to wellness.
Do not give up---and it will happen.
