Hi all:

I had a phone consult with my doc on Monday and was

told that I am IgM positive for a recent infection

with EBV. They advised me to see an ID person as

well. I also have CMV but not to that magnitude.

She told me that they rarely have seen this in

patients and again, advised me to see an ID. I

had mono as a teenager. It is possible that that

has become reactivated-- as I just don't know

how I would have picked that up recently.

I am on an intense lyme, babs etc regimen and the

thought of adding another drug - antiviral makes

me nervous. Has anyone had success with herbal

treatments for viruses. My doc said Valcite has

a lot of side effects and that basically you need

to work on your immune system- which I am trying

to do. It will be a while I think before I can

get in with a local ID doc and wanted any info.

I could get my hands on. Thank you - Thank you!

My LLMD has put me on LymPlus by Transfer Factor. It is supposed to get rid of EBV, immunize you against it and also has factors for lyme. Need to take if for 18 months.
