DS, 11, is being switched to Flagyl, after experiencing severe mood swings (Herx) from Augmentin and Zithromax for almost 4 weeks. He is diagnosed with Lyme and Bartonella. Any advice on how to make life easier for him. He is hating school-not wanting to go. Very defiant and snappish. On the plus side-his Bart rash has diminished and his cognitive skills are improving. Also, he takes Diflucan and many supplements.

Poor guy. I can't imagine having to deal with school on top of lyme and co.
Is there any way to let him do school at home for a bit? Some day my daughter gets a lot accomplished, but other days she just needs to sleep.
