For me everything looks kinda blurry and dream like. Nothing looks or feels real anymore which drives me INSANE!
If I look at one thing like the computer it looks normal but as soon as I get up and start walking or looking around everything seems blurry or foggy. It IS really hard to explain and I just want that symptom GONE

These were one of my most troubling symptoms.
I would have "drunk vision" and would occasionally see "light patches" in my vision. When reading, I swear I could sometimes see the "white" of the page better than the black text.
Looking at striped patterns were bothersome.
I had days when everything looked like a photonegative. I would get worms in the periphery.
All are gone now, except for some mild floaters.

I have the fuzzy cloudy blurry vision when I'm low on B12.
After a shot it goes away.... works for me.
Used to have b12 levels tested everytime I had the blurry vision and sure enough, I was always low.

I had 2 white-outs lasting less than 15 minutes and occurring in both eyes. I mentioned to the ID doctor and he has ordered an MRI of my head. I think I will opt out of the Gadolinium contrast though.

- All the tick-borne infections (as well as other stealth infections) can affect - or damage - eyesight. Be sure to discuss symptoms with your LLMD and, if needed, also ask for a referral to LL eye doctor whom your LLMD trusts.
Fuzzy or fade-out symptoms can be from fatigue - or from other influences. The Yoga for Your Eyes detail below may help. Our eyes get really tired, too, and need rest but also some specific exercise.
Toxicity is the huge issue for anyone with a tick-borne infection. Toxins can cause damage to all body systems and organs. Be sure liver support is in place.
The inflammation from infection also greatly affects our eyes. Liver support is part of dealing with that but other suggestions are in links below. It's just a start to the conversation you should have with your LLMD or LL ND (naturopathic doctor).
While eye tissue itself can be damage or stressed - some visual changes can be from nerve inflammation in the brain - or from the ears which also often take a hit from infection and toxicity.
Also check all your medicines and over the counter products. Many can upset eyesight, especially blurry vision.

It's nice to see what it's like on You Tube and then purchase for your daily use with your DVD player. You Tube denies him of his rightful due for all his research and work.
The DVD is very affordable - about the cost of one supplement - it's just about $20. and you get a book with it, too. The DVD is also much easier on your eyes - from your TV at a distance. The computer screen is much harder on eyes.
This 1 hour and 15 minute DVD plus 65 page illustrated study guide and eye chart was the surprise hit at the recent New York Yoga Expo and evidently with good reason.

I am able to get rid of all Lyme eye symptoms by drinking mangosteen juice, an anti-inflammatory antioxidant juice.
There are lots of brands in healthfood stores and online. I drink the Ultra one from Trace Minerals with 70 minerals added. If you try it, go slowly and drink a lot of water too.

Yes, for me it's blurry vision in both eyes. Usually worse in the morning, feels like almost a film over my eyes. When I wash them out it does help a little. I sometimes wake up with extreme amounts of conjunctivitis-type goop in my eyes.
This all comes and goes. Just like many of my Lyme symptoms. The only couple that really NEVER go are the internal vibrations/over-reactive nervous system and some sort of weird tongue issues, those are pretty much constant, sigh. TS

I feel so much better reading all these....I even sometimes think someone is there and then I look and no one. I too used to love to read, now I am lucky to read a couple pages if that before the floaters distract me and that's the end of reading.

I have a lot of variable vision problems, including difficulty with focusing and a blurry feeling in my eyes.
Sometimes I think this is eyestrain, but most of the time I think it's related to toxin build-up. If I take a binder or fiber to aid detox, my vision and eye symptoms usually clear up quickly.
I've read that vision disturbances could be related to accumulation of heavy metals and other neurotoxins that are not being cleared from the body.
Dr. S. in Maryland (he's not specifically an LLMD) offers a visual contrast sensitivity test online for minimal cost. You might want to try taking that on a bad day and a good day, for comparison.
The test involves looking at patterns of gray wavy lines on a white background and seeing how much you can make out. I'm sure the link has been posted on Lymenet before.
Take care, Nutmeg

I have found mangosteen juice! Starting my second month drinking it.
I still have a foggy head most of the time but my eyes are clear. Haven't had any blurriness since I started drinking it. I can even read in bed at night now. Haven't been able to do that for months.
