I have been feel daily headache for almost 2 years and I went back to Taiwan(my country)early of this year.
I went to the headache specialist there and the doctor there diagnosised me new daily persistant headache but I don't believe it.
I did a Igenex test after I came back to usa on March this year and the test came back Igenex positive,I turly believe my headache is due to the lyme,I don't think a person can get daily headache without no reason and the doctor just give u a name like new daily persistant headache and wants to put you on pain medcation.

- Are you living in Taiwan right now?
Quote: "Doctor in Taiwan does't believe lyme can cause daily headache" (end quote)
And I say, "So?"
Anyone who knows anything about lyme knows it can cause daily headaches.
And, I also wonder, "So, you got a positive lyme test. Are you being treated?" Sounds like you need to stop going to doctors who are not lyme literate. The one who says lyme cannot cause daily headaches is not lyme literate.
So, why then, are you listening to him? Find a LLMD.
Other than the fact that you do not indicate being treated for lyme, we don't have enough other information to help you.
We can't tell if you are taking good supportive supplements or eating a healthful diet. Here are some things that help:
Gluten-free diet
MAGNESIUM
Fish Oil and eating good fish, which I assume you have readily available. Be sure your fish is low mercury.
Lots of Leafy Greens (also probably at your fingertips)
Avoiding MSG, aspartame and ALL Artificial and processed stuff that some might call food.
Massage is good. Cranial-Sacral therapy, too.
Attention to Heavy Metals Detox
Avoid plastics, scented products, etc. -

Chances are there's not many or no Lyme literate doctors in Taiwan, I was trying to be tested for Lyme when staying in Kunming, China last year and no Chinese person I spoke to had even heard of it before. A Chinese doctor told me that it is not possible to be tested for Lyme anywhere in China (in which case it's also not possible to be treated for it correctly), don't know about Taiwan though.
You can still try to treat the symptoms with TCM, but if you want to make sure you get the correct treatment you shoud definitely find a Lyme literate doctor. I read somewhere that anyone from around the world can contact ILADS (their phone number is supposed to be posted on their website), maybe they can provide you with some more information.

If you can find a sympathetic doctor you may be able to get him to cooperate in prescribing the antibiotics you need to recover. You may have co-infections in addition to lyme that also need to be addressed with different antibiotics. You should check out the lists of symptoms to see what is possible.
Buy Singleton's book on Lyme (can't remember the name right now). It gives treatment guidelines. You can also download Dr. B's treatment protocol for free. Take this to a doctor you feel may be more open to helping you - not a specialist.
For me, my daily headaches were related to bartonella which seems to be persistent, while lyme symptoms come and go and migrate. My headaches are behind the eyes in the forehead similar to migraine. Babesia causes pain in the back of the head.

Nefferdun, this is my child's headache exactly (24/7 for the past 2+ years)--have you found any relief from yours yet?
Feelbetter, do you have an LLMD in the States that can prescribe Lyme meds for you?
How about contacting Zhang's clinic and asking him to help? I think he only uses herbs, but perhaps he can speak to your doc in Taiwan and at least explain Lyme disease so they understand more.

I have had daily headaches (and arthritis, muscle, tenton, etc pain) nonstop for 4 months myself. Did you do or take anything specific that got rid of the headaches? Or did they just go away on their own? Thanks

A LOT of Doctors in a lot of places believe all kinds of stupid nonsense. Doctors are just people, and like many of us, can be extremely ignorant

Get yourself a new doctor.
